Thunderbird Setup

Thunderbird uses COG Mail autoconfig. Enter your name, full email address, and mailbox password. Thunderbird should retrieve the settings automatically.

Thunderbird autoconfig is active.
Active XML endpoint:
https://cogmail.tech/.well-known/autoconfig/mail/config-v1.1.xml

Recommended Setup Steps

Open Thunderbird.
Go to Account Settings.
Choose Account Actions, then Add Mail Account.
Enter your display name.
Enter your full email address.
Enter your mailbox password.
Click Continue.
Thunderbird should detect COG Mail automatically.
Confirm the detected settings and finish setup.

Autoconfig should detect:
Incoming: IMAP, server cogmail.tech, port 993, SSL/TLS
Outgoing: SMTP, server cogmail.tech, port 587, STARTTLS
Username: full email address

Manual Fallback Settings

Incoming protocol: IMAP

Incoming server: cogmail.tech

Incoming port: 993

Incoming security: SSL/TLS

Outgoing server: cogmail.tech

Outgoing port: 587

Outgoing security: STARTTLS

Authentication: normal password

Username: full email address
