iPhone / iPad Setup

Generate an Apple configuration profile for COG Mail, Calendar, and Contacts. Enter the mailbox details once, then install the profile on the iPhone or iPad.

Account Information

These fields are used to build a downloadable Apple configuration profile. The description is the account label that will appear on the device.

The sender name people see when you send mail. Example: Donald Mayfield.
The full mailbox address. This is also the username for Mail, Calendar, and Contacts.
The mailbox password. The generated profile uses it for Mail, Calendar, and Contacts.
The account label shown on the iPhone. Examples: COG Mail, Work Email, or Donald - COG.
Profile settings:
Incoming Mail: cogmail.tech, IMAP, port 993, SSL/TLS
Outgoing Mail: cogmail.tech, SMTP, port 465, SSL/TLS
Calendar: cogmail.tech, CalDAV
Contacts: cogmail.tech, CardDAV
Security note:
This profile includes the mailbox password so the iPhone does not ask for it separately for Mail, Calendar, and Contacts. Install it only on the intended device. Delete the downloaded profile file after installation.

Install Steps

  1. Tap Download iPhone Profile.
  2. Open iPhone Settings.
  3. Tap Profile Downloaded, or go to General > VPN & Device Management.
  4. Install the profile.
  5. Open Mail and test sending and receiving.
